How are things going, everyone? It''s my first time posting here.
There is a children''s movie that I recall seeing advertised in a corporate video production company, and I''m confident that I have seen at least a portion of it. It could have been older, but I believe I saw it between 1999 and 2002.
Here is a list of the specifics I can recall:
1. Given that it''s probably pretty obscure, it was probably made for television or direct-to-video.
2. It was animated and resembled an anime from the 1980s or something similar to it.
3. The protagonist was a young girl who, based on my memory, was an orphan and resided with her grandmother or something.
4. The girl somehow enters a fantasy or pretend world while the said grandma is gone for a while.
5. She is accompanied by a dog, a bear, or another animal. Maybe a living doll like Winnie the Pooh.
6. They travel by train
7. The storm scene, which is essentially the climax, is quite intense.
8. I found and browsed through one of my mom''s parenting magazines, and I''m pretty sure it had an advertisement in it.
Anyone have a guess as to what this might be?
Thanks!
It''s not a movie from Studio Ghibli! It might be some sort of anime, or it might be a western animated film with anime-inspired visuals.
I''m sure I''d recognize it right away if I saw the print advertisement or the movie itself!
