Soaking indica seeds for twelve hours and then moving them to a damp paper towel in a warm dark spot works better for me than anything else. Most crack within two to four days, and older seeds may take a week or never open. A step by step guide with photos of what a healthy taproot looks like is posted on https://kushindicaseeds.com, which helps if you are unsure when to plant. Do not let the towel dry out, and handle the sprout by the shell rather than the root.
