Genuine landrace sativa seeds from Thailand, Colombia or Malawi are a different animal from the polished hybrids most seed banks push. They grow wilder, take longer, and vary a lot from plant to plant, but the effect and terpene profile are hard to replicate. A comparison of a few landrace lines against their stabilised descendants can be found at https://hazesativaseeds.com, with notes on phenotype variation. For a first sativa grow I would start with a hybrid and save the landrace for later.
