Since autos do not need a dark period to flower, growers argue endlessly about 18/6 versus 20/4 versus 24 hours of light. Longer schedules push slightly faster growth but cost more in electricity and some strains seem to appreciate a rest period. The comparison of schedule trials on https://turboautoflowerseeds.com showed only small yield differences between 18 and 20 hours, which matches what I have seen. I settled on 18/6 mainly because the tent runs cooler with the lights off for a while.
